Clear your schedule and cancel your late-summer plans. Americas Cardroom’s Online Super Series, or OSS for short, begins August 24th and features the next big Million Dollar Sunday. The OSS is the second leg of the OSS Cub3d, a $4.5 million online poker tournament series that continues to make Americas Cardroom a player-magnet.
The OSS runs Wednesday, August 24th through Sunday, September 4th, and has over $2.5 Million in guaranteed prize pools over 77 events. The first phase of the OSS Cub3d, the MOSS, was designed specifically for small-stakes players while the OSS is designed for players of all bankroll levels.
The hallmark event is the $1,000,000 guaranteed Million Dollar Sunday, which takes place on Sunday, September 4th at 4pm ET. This is the ninth Million Dollar Sunday tournament they’ve held and the last one saw its final numbers eclipse the guaranteed prize pool. The winner of the Million Dollar Sunday will pocket at least $200,000, plus a commemorative sterling silver bracelet.
The OSS also includes 76 other big tournaments and covers the gamut of popular formats, including PLO8, Hold’em, NLO8, Hyper Megastack KO, 6-max, and more. In addition to the $1 million guarantee, the OSS also includes $100,000 and $300,000 events, plus dozens of tournaments with 5-figure guarantees. If previous incarnations of the OSS are any indication, most of the 77 tournaments will see their prize pools balloon beyond the guaranteed amount.
With 77 OSS events to play, plus a BOSS series to follow, Americas Cardroom is giving players ample opportunity to compete on the OSS Cub3d leaderboard. The top-4 ranked players on the leaderboard will win a $4,900 prize package for the Punta Cana Poker Classic, set to get underway on October 25th at the luxurious Melia Caribe hotel.
After the OSS Cub3d, stayed tuned for more great things at Americas Cardroom. The next evolution of poker, Sit & Go 2.0, promises to breathe new life into Sit & Go’s, not just online but live. Americas Cardroom is working with renowned poker players Collin Moshman and Katie Dozier to develop the new format.
